I fell in love, long time ago, with the boxer breed and got my first boxer named "Claus" he was a great dog with a great temperament and became champion and grand champion, I was more than excited and pleased with my dog. He lived three wonderful years, filled our lives with joy and happiness and wonderful experiences, but then had health problems and he needed check-ups until the age of 7 that he passed away; it was very painful for me and decided to stop breeding boxers and go for another breed.

Then I got married and things happening here and there I couldn't find the time to breed boxers again until I found myself living in Zambia, there with plenty of free time I decided to begin again my passion and since I couldn't find the source, began looking for websites of boxers until I found some that called my attention; time has passed and I couldn't see another breed in my mind and soul other than the boxer, I definitely had to continue breeding boxers, but focused my priority on choosing a healthy one. After I found some sites finally got my first boxer, after a long time, a plain brindle baby named "Tanyati Unforgettable" a.k.a. Chloe from the Tanyati kennels in South Africa.

Interesting was that I found many people was breeding their dogs on natural raw food, and decided to find out more about it, after all I had been feeding my dogs kibbles and maybe who knows that could be the problem, I got the book " Work wonders " by Tom Lonsdale and contacted him and began reading his articles and decided that natural raw food will be the new feeding way for my dogs.

I thank very much to Monique Hodgkinson, breeder of Tanyati, for giving me Chloe, that wonderful puppy that some day will be continuing my breeding project, I thank Monique not only for her support as a breeder and for being my mentor, but also for her friendship and for being truly a wonderful person to me

Why Ironblade?

I always loved that look of the strong boxer and decided to breed healthy, strong, working, but also elegant boxers so I was thinking in the name of my kennel and pictured in my mind a boxer as strong as iron and with a terrific movement like being on ice, and since I love ice skating and these skaters are wonderful with the blades on ice with amazing, gracious but also tenacious movements, then I put the words iron + blade together and decided that was going to be my kennel name.
