GCH Claus D'Sayok
06/04/1991 - 1998
Claus was the one that brought me to breed boxers, he was the result of an outcross combination by Heyko v. Buhlgarten + Happy de Caballero; first I just wanted a pet and then once I had him he demonstrated me that the breed was my kind of dog to breed. Click here to see Claus's photos.
Claus was a very nice puppy, that didn't like to eat and always was a skinny puppy, for that he didn't do well in the ring until he turned 12 months and nothing stopped him to get the biggest prize in all the rings, he hated though, he was not the kind of dog that loved to be shown and almost all the times he got bored in the ring and was at home where he really showed his best, so I decided to stop showing him.
He was a truly companion with wonderful temperament, he was a truly boxer but above all a honorary human; Claus and I were like one, he knew what I wanted with just looking at me and viceversa I knew what he wanted to do or eat or when he was feeling bad or when he wanted to go for a walk, we both knew each other very well and shared wonderful moments, we traveled together and enjoyed our time alone or with other fellow dogs, he was a very clever dog and a master teasing people with his tennis ball, he was so good with his hands and every time he was on bed with his balls immediately challenge people to take the ball out of his hands and he would just roll the ball with one hand and without moving his body, just being lying on bed!
My very first boxer is gone but will never be forgotten, he runs with me and stays with me in my mind and my heart, I will always remember him as the best of the rest.
